What a wonderful film, a Princess Bride for the 21st Century. Mainstream reviewers seem to have had a bit of a downer on this movie but it's hard to see why. The direction deserves particular note, managing to keep the fairly simple plot... Boy mee... full review

Saw it with my daughters, but needn't have had them with me in order to love it. A wonderfully, and wittily reworked version of the classic fairytale. Baddies hilarious, onscreen deaths also very funny. Michelle Pfeiffer's character's vanit... full review

This is basically a fairytale for an older audience, and is a really great family movie if you have older children. Michelle Pfeiffer makes a brilliant wicked witch, and Robert De Niro as a camp cross-dressing pirate is worth the money - absolutely hyst... full review
