Tim Allen has indelibly linked himself in Yuletide lore with this pair of Xmas hits.
The first film opens on Christmas Eve and all through toy salesman Scott Calvin's (Allen) house not a creature is stirring. But who's that making all that noise on the roof? Calvin goes out to investigate, closely followed by his young son, Charlie, only to find Santa lying dead outside the door. While investigating, Scott tries on Santa's famous red and white clobber, only to be magically recruited as the next Saint Nick. He now has a year to put his affairs in order, before he has to travel to his new home at the North Pole and take on the role of Santa.
In the second film, set a few years later, Scott finds there's another clause he must consider - that if he he doesn't get married within eight years of his assumption of duty, he'll cease to be Santa Claus and Christmas will disappear.
To add to the festive fun, both family friendly flicks come with extras including two terrific gag reels, featurettes and deleted scenes.
