Stallone brands Bruce Willis 'greedy and lazy', hires Harrison Ford
Sly announces Willis won't be in the Expendables sequel and takes an extra swipe.
Sly Stallone has hired Harrison Ford for 'The Expendables 3'... and taken a swipe at Bruce Willis.
Taking to Twitter, he made the new casting announcements, calling Willis out and bringing Harrison Ford into the fold.
But clearly there's been some behind-the-scenes spat during negotiations, because Stallone went on to make his feelings rather clear.
His first missive was plain enough:
WILLIS OUT... HARRISON FORD IN !!!! GREAT NEWS !!!!! Been waiting years for this!!!!

But the next one, quite clearly aimed at Willis, put the boot in:
GREEDY AND LAZY ...... A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE

Ouch.
Sounds like he's not so much angry as disappointed. And that's so much worse...
It would perhaps tally with some of Willis's more truculent public behaviour of late.
He's been particularly grumpy in interviews, slating one poor soul on Magic FM and appearing in a dressing gown on 'Daybreak'.
But whatever the root of the disagreements, it appears that Willis will not be joining the cast of 'Expendables 3', which thus far is thought to include Mel Gibson, Mickey Rourke, Jackie Chan, Milla Jovovich, Jason Statham and Wesley Snipes.
Steven Seagal is still a maybe, but he might want to tread carefully with the mood Sly is in...
