Tarantino's next film title revealed?
Work moves forward on the director's upcoming Western.
After announcing in late 2013 that he's hard at work writing a Western-themed movie, the title of Quentin Tarantino's latest movie may have been leaked.
The film will reportedly be called 'The Hateful Eight'. Though storyline details are yet to be revealed, it's thought the title is a reference to John Sturges' 1960 genre classic 'The Magnificent Seven' (itself an adaptation of Akira Kurosawa's 1954 movie, 'Seven Samurai').

The writer/director is thought to be planning to begin production on the project this summer, and will soon begin casting the movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter's "highly-placed industry sources", a part has been penned for 'Inglorious Basterds' and 'Django Unchained' Oscar winner, Christoph Waltz. Tarantino has reportedly reached out to veteran casting director and Django collaborator Victoria Thomas to help him fill other roles.

Speaking about the film last year on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno', Tarantino said: "I can't talk that much about it, but I will say one thing. I haven't told anyone about this publicly, but I will say the genre. It's a Western.
"It's not a Django sequel, but it is another Western, and the thing is I had so much fun doing Django and I love Westerns so much, that after I taught myself how to make one, it's like, 'OK, let me make another one now that I know what I'm doing'."
