The nations favourite clay creations are seen here in their first full length feature. Cheese loving gent Wallace (voiced by Peter Sallis) and his loyal dog Gromit run a modestly successful humane pest control business, named Anti-Pesto. The business is soon put to the test when a huge beast starts eating the town's veg just ahead of the Giant Vegetable Competition. The event's patron Lady Tottington (voiced by Helena Bonham Carter) calls in Anti-Pesto.
Things aren't that simple though, obviously, as we get introduced to the villain of the piece, Victor (Ralph Fiennes), who has his own methods of pest control, mainly involving guns.
Follow the clumsy yet heroic pair as they attempt to track down the mystery beast (look to the title if you're after a clue...).
It has been a long wait for the first W&G feature, and thankfully Nick Park and co-director Steve Box haven't let us down, and they have gone on to add some A-list voice-overs to their animated genius, which gives the flick another level of credibility.
Warm, charming and often hilarious (in a very British sense), The Curse of The Were-Rabbit is not just for the young, it's aimed at all ages. In fact Nick Park's signature eye for detail will have you watching this movie again and again, just to see what you missed last time.
This double-disc set also boasts the following special features: Commentary by the filmmakers, How Wallace & Gromit Went To Hollywood, Aardman Studio Tour, The Family Album, Wallace & Gromit Cracking Contraptions (10 Animated Shorts), Behind The Scenes Of The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit, Stage Fright and How To Build A Bunny.
