Beck (The Rock) is a 'retrievals' expert who wants out of his dangerous game in order to open a restaurant. However, his connected boss wants him to do one last job before he can walk away - namely, to head down to a small mining town in Brazil and bring back his good-for-nothing son (Seann William Scott). Needless to say, things don't quite go to plan and soon Beck not only has to contend with his really annoying quarry but local rebels, a small private army run by mining boss Hatcher (Christopher Walken) and a band of horny monkeys. And no, we're not kidding....
Known to wrestling fans around the world, 6'4" Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is beginning to get a big reputation outside of the ring too. Exuding charisma and attitude, he may not be the best actor in the world but he's certainly no slouch when it comes to handing out a beating or blowing things up.
Maybe the brief cameo from Arnie at the beginning of this film is his way of giving The Rock his seal of approval.
There's loads of extras to play with here including an audio commentary from director Peter Berg and The Rock, a deleted scene montage, seven featurettes, the theatrical trailer and some Easter eggs.
