If kids who've been on those military boot camp-related reality shows think they had it tough they should try the one depicted in this film (although watching it could be deemed punishment enough for some).

Toby Kebbell plays Callum who's taken from a young offenders prison with his cellmates to a deserted island for what's initially described as an "outward bound" course.

The only lesson they begin to learn, however, is that they shouldn't be on a deserted island, especially when it turns out not to be entirely deserted and the inhabitant is a crazed killer. Throw in some rabid dogs, bear traps and other little surprises and you realise this is no place to take your holidays.

The best teen horror flicks usually contain an element of knowing humour and intelligence. Unfortunately this film lacks both and the scares aren't the best. Horror fanatics might be able to draw some satisfaction from the inventive booby traps though.
