Watch: Competition winner achieves dream of recording lines for The Lego Movie

Ryan fulfills his 'once in a lifetime experience' after winning a Yahoo competition.

Everybody, at some point in their life, fantasises about appearing in a movie, and thanks to Warner Bros. and Yahoo, Ryan from West London, has achieved that dream at just 9 years of age.

Ryan was the lucky winner of our competition to win a voice part in 'The LEGO Movie', which is out in cinemas today.

After being selected from thousands of entrants, he was whisked away to a high-tech recording studio in London to record his lines for the animated film which tells the story of Emmett an ordinary LEGO man who embarks on an extraordinary adventure.

"It's a once in a lifetime experience for me," Ryan exclaims in our video above, "I'm pretty sure I'll never get the chance to do something like this again."

Joining a voice cast which already includes Morgan Freeman, Will Ferrell, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks and many more is a huge achievement for the youngster who was already excited about the film before he won our competition.

"We were always looking forward to the film anyhow," explains Ryan's mum Carie, "So having the opportunity to come in here and do this is absolutely amazing. I think it just makes it super-special."

Listen out for Ryan's part during the Cloud Cuckoo Land scene, he voices one of thee robots (Robo Skeleton #1 to be precise), who work for the hilariously angry Bad Cop, voiced by Liam Neeson.

'The LEGO Movie' is in UK cinemas now.
