Watch: Tom Hiddleston goes goth for final ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ trailer (exclusive)

Tom Hiddleston’s star-making turn in Marvel’s ‘Thor’ films has earned him thousands of fans across the world, but they may be surprised by the trailer for his new film, which you can watch exclusively on Yahoo above.

Hiddleston plays Adam, a tortured musician who also happens to be an immortal blood-sucking vampire, opposite the love of his eternal life Eve, played by the icy-cool Tilda Swinton.

Trouble is afoot when the couple are tested by Eve’s uncontrollable young sister Ava, played by Aussie actress Mia Wasikowska.

"These two lovers are archetypal outsiders, classic bohemians, extremely intelligent and sophisticated -- yet still in full possession of their animal instincts.” explains writer director Jim Jarmusch, "They have traveled the world and experienced many remarkable things, always inhabiting the shadowed margins of society.”

Hiddleston’s brooding bare-chested Adam is a long step away from Loki, the mischievous Marvel villain he played in ‘Thor’, ‘Marvel’s Avengers Assemble’, and ‘Thor: The Dark World’, so fans may be in for a shock.
 
‘Only Lovers Left Alive’, written and directed by Jim Jarmusch (‘Broken Flowers’, 'Ghost Dog’), is coming to UK cinemas on February 21.
