Emma Watson has brushed off stories that she will be starring in the Fifty Shades Of Grey film.
The former Harry Potter star had been rumoured to be in talks for the lead role of Anastasia Steele in the big-screen adaptation of EL James' erotic novel.
"I haven't read the book, I haven't a read a script, nothing," she told Entertainment Weekly.
"There are so many movies you become attached to when I've literally never even received a phone call. It was the same way with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - I never even saw a script!"
Emma - who next stars in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower - revealed that friends and family have asked her about the Fifty Shades rumours since the online speculation.
"I told them just because there are 60 articles on the internet doesn't mean it's any less true than if there are three or four. The thing is I'm not going to go out there every time someone attaches me to a film to say no or release a statement," she explained.
The 22-year-old actress, best recognised for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, has wrapped Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring and is working on Darren Aronofsky's Biblical tale Noah.
