Westboro church to picket Ebert funeral
Controversial church was angered by tweets from Ebert that appeared to mock them
Members of the Westboro Baptist Church are to picket Roger Ebert's funeral.
In giving its reason for the protest, the controversial Kansas church, which has become notorious for its pickets of the funerals of soldiers and gay teenagers, accused the critic of being a 'f*g enabler'.

The church was also angry over a tweet that Ebert sent in March which appeared to mock the church.
Ebert posted a link to a story from Salon.com, in which gay writer Jeff Chu spent a day at the Westboro Church with the message 'just another day at Westboro Baptist'.
In a news release titled 'GOD HATES F-G ENABLER ROGER EBERT!', the church says: “This fool sold his soul for some fame & fortune, forgetting that God has made a simple declaration regarding His people: 'Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.' (Psalms 105:15).
“Now the famed critic is in a new jurisdiction, where he can see the blessings poured out on God's humble servants in heaven, from his seat of eternal torment & sorrow in Hell!
“It's too late for the fool Roger Ebert! WBC will continue to bind those who still live in Doomed america to God's eternal laws & Word, so you, like Roger, are without excuse!”
The church has previously picketed the high-profile funerals of Steve Jobs and US lawyer and activist Elizabeth Edwards, who was an advocate of gay marriage.
The release adds that it intends to protest at Ebert's funeral 'in lawful proximity' from 9:15am at the Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago today.
Ebert died last week, aged 70, following a long battle with cancer.
