In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past 12 months, you’ll be aware that a little film called ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ comes out in December.
With it comes a galaxy of mechandise ranging from the super cool, to the super expensive, to the super weird. Here’s a handful of suggestions you can pick up right now.
Said to be the must-have present this Christmas, the instant icon of a toy was released back in September and has been in short supply ever since. Strictly speaking, it’s not a toy, but a rather pricey, immensely accurate app-controlled droid device.
Star Wars Christmas jumpers
Arguably the coolest looking knitwear this side of Naboo, while these aren’t a weird or rare item, they’re unisex, awesome-looking jumpers that you can not only wear to see ‘The Force Awakens’ for the tenth time or on Christmas Day, but you can whip ‘em out each festive season forever more.
Price: £19.99 - £34.99

The Force Awakens LEGO Millennium Falcon
With the new movie comes a new line of LEGO. Having recently made a massive comeback thanks to some amazing releases - specifically ‘Back to the Future’, ‘Ghostbusters’’ Ecto-1 and ‘WALL-E’ - and ‘The LEGO Movie’, this new Falcon is detailed and looks great. Should be able to pick it up for under £100 thanks to Black Friday.

Death Star Mood Light
A subtle and relatively inexpensive piece of ‘Star Wars’ merch, this bedside light emits a good amount of light and looks amazingly geeky, too. If your other half or parental tell you you don’t need it, you can argue it’s an essential household appliance.
‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ is in UK cinemas on 17 December.
