The monstrous year that is 2020 has been brutal in so many ways, including to cinemas and the movie industry. From the closure of Cineworld, to constant delays, and some films losing their big theatrical releases altogether. Chances are, you hadn't given much thought to what the biggest movie of 2020 (so far) is, while one of the year's last standing blockbusters (Wonder Woman: 1984) has pushed back back to December 25 – for now, at least.
So we thought what better time to celebrate cinema? And we asked you to vote for the 100 biggest blockbusters of the 21st century – and Digital Spy's lifetime.

Blockbusters can be hard to define, and we're not just looking at big cash money films. We also included huge action spectacle movies, exciting, fist-pumping popcorn munching, Saturday night cinema-fillers. It's hard to define a blockbuster, but we all know when we've seen one.
Our glorious cover, which you can see above, was designed by artist Madison Coby and animated by Issy Muir. Meanwhile, the Digital Spy team have delved into a few films on the list to talk about what made them quite so magical, including some sublime character art from illustrator Kenneth J Franklin.
Elsewhere in the issue, we kick things off in Eye Spy with all you need to remember ahead of The Mandalorian season 2 on Disney+. There's also an exclusive interview with Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood, the definite answer on who YOU want to be the next James Bond – plus the verdict on Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant's HBO thriller, The Undoing.
Elsewhere, our TV editor Laura Turner delves into DS favourite Taskmaster, as it makes its big move to Channel 4. Plus, we have a first-look at some of Christmas' biggest soap spoilers set to shock everywhere from the cobbles to the Square.
Then in The Insider, we have the biggest TV reboots already underway (yes, that Fresh Prince one is legit now), the definite watching order of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Walking Dead: World Beyond's Nico Tortorella on being an LGBTQ+ superhero, and everything you need to know about the big battle between Xbox Series X and PS5.
Finally, in Time Jump we look back at Brookside, one of the most groundbreaking soaps in TV history, with the cast and crew. Then, we've got the funniest I'm a Celebrity moments ever ahead of the show's UK edition, and a celebration of Supernatural, as it comes to a close after a whopping 15 seasons. And finally, there's the movie sequels that will never happen.
All in all, a blockbuster issue.
