Felicity Huffman
On March 12, the former Desperate Housewives star was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud for her role in a college admission scam. It’s claimed she paid £11,480 for someone to take the SAT test for her oldest daughter with the money being funnelled through a fake charity. Lori Loughlin
On March 13, the Full House actress and her designer husband Mossimo Giannulli were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud for her part in a fraudulent college admission scheme. She allegedly paid £382,580 to secure her two daughters a place as recruits on the USC rowing team, despite neither one of them playing a sport. She has also been charged with money laundering and prosecutors have reportedly offered her a plea deal with prison time attached though she has yet to plead guilty. On February 3, 2019, the rapper was apprehended and detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for outstaying the visa he arrived into the country on from the UK in 2006. For years many had believed 21 Savage, real name Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was an American citizen as he rapped about his upbringing in Atlanta. Joey Gaydos Jr.
The School of Rock actor was arrested four times over five weeks in Florida for allegedly stealing guitars and an amplifier in order to pawn them off for cash. One arrest took place on February 14, and the total amount of stolen goods, from all his alleged thievery, was enough for Gaydos to be charged with felony larceny and grand theft.

Bow Wow
On February 2, 2019, the rapper was arrested and charged with battery along with now-ex-girlfriend Kiyomi Leslie following an alleged altercation. Both parties sustained minor injuries and were held under arrest by Atlanta police before Bow Wow was released on an $8,000 bond. On January 21, 2019, the singer was detained by French police in Paris on charges of aggravated rape and multiple narcotics offences, alongside two other unidentified people. An unnamed woman claims she was sexually assaulted by Brown. Though he was released without charge, an investigation is continuing. On February 20, 2019, the Empire actor was arrested on suspicion of filing a false report regarding an alleged racist and homophobic attack he claimed to be the victim of on January 29, 2019. Chicago police claimed Smollett staged the attack and paid £2678 to two men to assault him. The Cook County District Attorney’s office decided to drop the charges against the actor but the city still plans to sue Smollett for the cost of investigating his attack claims. The singer turned himself into Chicago police on February 22, 2019, and he was arrested and charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Four different women accuse Kelly of charges, three of which claim they were underage at the time. His arrest came after a documentary on his alleged crimes were broadcast on. Kelly was set a $1 million (£770,000) bond, forced to turn over his passport and have no contact with anyone under the age of 18. A benefactor paid $100,000 (£77,000) for his release.
