47 Ronin exclusive featurette: Keanu Reeves introduces samurai epic

We hope Keanu Reeves still knows Kung Fu in his upcoming samurai epic '47 Ronin'. The 'Matrix' introduces the film, and a load of new footage, in this exclusive featurette. Watch it above.

Directed by Carl Erik Rinsch, ’47 Ronin’ tells the story of Japan’s national legend. The Ronin (leaderless samurai) in question being a real-life band of 18th century warriors who walk the warpath to revenge after their master was killed by the villainous lord Kira.

Playing Kai – a half-Japanese half-British outcast created for the film - Keanue himself stars alongside an established Japanese cast including Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Tadanobu Asano, Hiroyuki Sanada and ‘Pacific Rim’ star Rinko Kikuchi.

’47 Ronin’ is out in the UK 26 December 2013.
