Abi Titmuss Makes US Acting Debut In Days Of Our Lives

You may recall Abi Titmuss – the lad mag favourite who shot to fame following a certain ‘video’ featuring her then-boyfriend, the former 'Blue Peter’ presenter John Leslie, and a chum of theirs.

Well these days, she’s pursuing an acting career under the name Abigail Evelyn, and she’s made the move to Los Angeles.

Last month, the 39-year-old former nurse revealed that she’d landed a role on the legendarily long-running US soap 'Days Of Our Lives’.

Well this week, after a posting pictures of herself on-set to her Instagram page, she’s made her screen debut.

Aptly playing a nurse called Jackie, she makes a short appearance at a hospital reception.

“Can’t believe I’m now a part of this incredible, 50 year old U.S. show!! #days #Jackie @nbcdays #blessed,” she posted, with a snap of the soap’s logo.

It’s not the first time she’s played a nurse either – snagging a small role in BBC show 'Casualty’ back in 2012.

In an interview with the Mail on Sunday earlier this year, she appeared to regret her past behaviour in her search for fame.

“When you judge your self-worth by how many camera lenses are pointed at you then that is a recipe for disaster,” she said.

“I was thrust into a world I was ill-prepared for and while I thought I could handle it, it has taken me years to sort myself out.

“Now I just want to do what I love, which is act. LA is like the Olympics of acting. Everyone is young, talented and hot.

“I have to hone my craft. I sacrificed a lot to be here. I left behind loved ones and everything that was familiar to me. But I believe if you leap, the net will appear.”
