Keanu Reeves Takes Out The Trash On John Wick 2 Set
Didn’t these guys see the first ‘John Wick’ movie? The one which seemed to strongly suggest 'don’t mess with John Wick’?
It would appear not.
These ace pics from the set of 'John Wick 2’, being shot right now in New York’s Chinatown, show the one and only Keanu Reeves taking out the gangster trash in this bout of street fighting.
And he’s no slouch for his 51 years either, duffing up two guys simultaneously while wearing a smart suit, generally no one’s top wardrobe choice for a dust up.
This whole business will be extremely exciting for fans of the first movie - a thumping return to form for the action star - coming so swiftly on the heels of our first dose in 2014.
The movie was a surprise hit too, scoring $130 million from its $20 million budget and some decent reviews along the way.
Director Chad Stahelski, a former stuntman himself who worked with Reeves on 'The Matrix’ movies, is back on board to direct, with several of the cast – the ones that weren’t murdered, of course – returning.
Ian McShane is back as Winston, owner of the Continental Hotel, the place where everybody knows your name (if you’re a hitman), John Leguizamo as Aurelio and Bridget Moynahan as Wick’s deceased wife Helen.
Joining the cast this time are Common, Lance Reddick, Ruby Rose and Peter Stormare, with filming also set to take place in Italy.
It’s due out sometime in 2016.
