AEW will celebrate the life and career of Brodie Lee with a special edition of Dynamite on Wednesday (December 30).

The news of Lee's (real name Jon Huber) tragic death at the age of 41 was announced by AEW on Saturday (December 26), with the wrestling world uniting in their tributes.

On Twitter AEW boss Tony Khan announced the special edition of Dynamite, which includes a match put together by Lee's son Brodie.

Khan wrote: "This Wednesday on #AEWDynamite, we'll celebrate the life of Jon Huber (Mr. Brodie Lee) with a show including tributes and a special card of matches dedicated to The Exalted One. This night is intended to honor Jon, but also this is for Amanda, and their sons Brodie (-1) and Nolan."

The card features the one night only team of Cody, Orange Cassidy and The Dark Order's 10 taking on Team Taz and The Young Bucks and Colt Cabana vs. Matt Hardy and Private Party.

The team of Hangman Page, John Silver and Alex Reynolds will face MJF, Santana and Ortiz, Anna Jay and Tay Conti will take on Dr. Britt Baker and Penelope Ford and Lance Archer, Evil Uno and Stu Grayson will team against Eddie Kingston and The Butcher and The Blade.

Khan added: "I signed up the unorthodox trio of @CodyRhodes, @orangecassidy and 10 as they're three of -1's favorite wrestlers. There's a lot of history between the three of them, 10 is Cody's former student who turned his back on the Nightmare Factory, but they'll all team to honor Brodie on Wednesday.

"I haven't slept much recently, I have a lot of responsibilities across my different roles, but this was the hardest week I've ever experienced. I'll miss Jon very much. I worked all night on a tribute card to honor him, the response from Amanda and from fans made me cry. Thank you."

Lee was also honoured by WWE on last night's edition of Raw with a graphic at the beginning of the show. Announcer Tom Phillips then kicked off the episode by saying: "It's Monday, you know what that means..." in tribute to Lee.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre also referenced Lee's catchphrase in his promo, while Xavier Woods paid tribute with a special Brodie armband.
