Alden Ehrenreich Signed For 3 Han Solo Movies?

It looks as though we’ll be seeing a lot of the new Han Solo…

According to the NY Daily News, Alden Ehrenreich – the 26-year-old ‘Star Wars’ actor set to play Han Solo – has signed a three movie deal.

“They feel that [Han Solo] has the right potential to become a central figure in several movies,” said an inside source. “They’re keeping things under wraps at the moment, but the deal is that he has signed for at least three movies.”

But does that mean three Han Solo movies?

It’s far more likely that we’ll see the young scruffy-looking nerf herder making appearances throughout the ‘Star Wars’ universe. And with a spin-off movie set to appear every other year there’s plenty of scope for him to pop in and out.

“There is a real sense of excitement around the Han Solo movie and its potential,” said their inside source. “Given that Han’s early adventures do not need to be tied to the Empire, it leaves story lines open with the opportunity to really give fans something different. They can explore new galaxies and crazy creatures and bring in a wide array of new characters.”

Of course, Alden Ehrenreich was recently confirmed to star as Han Solo in his own ‘Star Wars’ spin-off… but he’d already been rumoured for the role for some months. In fact, the 26-year-old reportedly beat the likes of Miles Teller, Taron Egerton and Jack Reynor to the coveted role.

Alden Ehrenreich stars as Han Solo in the upcoming spin-off.

Phil lord and Chris Miller will direct, based on a script by Jon and Lawrence Kasdan.

The ‘Han Solo’ spin-off movie heads to cinemas on 25 May 2018.
