Alicia Silverstone is the latest celebrity to join TikTok, and she made sure her debut video didn't go unnoticed by recreating a scene from the endlessly-popular 1990s comedy Clueless.

The Batman & Robin actress brought in her son to mimic the scene where Cher walks into school while narrating all her gripes about men, until she is interrupted by a guy trying to grab her.

She shoves him off and screams: "Ew. Get off of me. As if!"

Wearing a bright yellow blazer similar to her iconic outfit, Alicia and her son act out the scene – although she gives her son a quick hug after shoving him aside.

"Ugh! As if... I wouldn't join TikTok. 😉💛😘," she wrote alongside the clip. She also shared the TikTok to her Instagram page to the delight of fans, where she captioned the video: "I guess I'm on TikTok now."

Last week, it was announced that Silverstone would be returning to the world of high-school teenage comedy movies.

As reported by Deadline, the actress will star in Senior Year alongside Cats' Rebel Wilson, This Is Us' Justin Hartley, Spider-Man: Far from Home's Angourie Rice, Veep's Sam Richardson and Mary Holland, Strangers' Zoë Chao, and Rick and Morty's Chris Parnell.

The film centres on a cheerleader who wakes up from a 20-year coma. Of course, top of her agenda after all this time is being crowned prom queen, and she's not going to let being in her 30s stop her.
