Warner Bros. and MGM will open Tomb Raider, the upcoming reboot of the videogame-to-movie starring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft, on March 16, 2018.

Warners had previously reserved that date for an untitled DC film; while there had been earlier speculation that The Flash could land on the date, the studio has not yet dated the superhero movie.

Tomb Raider, which Roar Uthaug (The Wave) is directing, will be released in 3D and Imax. Angelina Jolie famously starred in the two previous Tomb Raider movies, 2001’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and 2003’s Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.

MGM and Warner Bros. are co-producing the movie, after acquiring rights from GK Films, with MGM overseeing production.

The studio also has set an April 21, 2017, opening date for the thriller Unforgettable, starring Katherine Heigl and Rosario Dawson, which Denise Di Novi is directing.
