Netflix has acquired the rights to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia producers Dave and John Chernin's new high-school comedy, Incoming.

Starring The Black Phone's Mason Thames alongside It's Always Sunny star Kaitlin Olson and Ant-Man's Bobby Cannavale, the brothers' directorial debut follows a group of high-school freshmen as they navigate the "terrors" of their first-ever party.

Joining Thames as the teenagers are Bardia Seiri (Grey’s Anatomy), Ramon Reed (Just Roll with It) and Raphael Alejandro (Acapulco).

Along with directing the film, the Chernins have also written the script, while Scott MacArthur, Isabella Ferreira, Ali Gallo and Loren Gray round out the cast.

They are also known for creating the sitcom The Mick for Fox, which also starred Olson as foul-mouthed babysitter Mackenzie Molng who is tasked with raising her wealthy older sister's children.
