There's an interesting mix of movies and TV heading to Amazon Prime Video this month, headlined by a crime series set in Brazil, a monster-fighting blockbuster and the film that finally won Martin Scorsese an Oscar.
The Departed and Godzilla: King of the Monsters are both heading to the service in June, accompanied by both of Reese Witherspoon's Legally Blonde movies, beloved noughties musical Hairspray and mother! — Darren Aronofsky's divisive thriller starring Jennifer Lawrence.
Among the original content is the drug trade thriller DOM, which features a father and son on opposite sides of the law.

New movies coming to Amazon Prime Video in June
Our Friend (18 June)
Based on a true story, Our Friend stars Casey Affleck as journalist Matthew Teague — the movie is adapted from his essay — dealing with his wife Nicole's (Dakota Johnson) cancer diagnosis. A mutual friend played by Jason Segel decides to move in to support the couple. Blackfish director Gabriela Cowperthwaite is behind the camera for this one.
The Ice Road (25 June)
Liam Neeson is a man with an unusual job — a very particular set of skills, one might say — on an intrepid rescue mission. If that sounds familiar, it's because The Ice Road slots squarely into the pantheon of Neeson's recent work in the action genre. He portrays an ice driver who rushes to save workers trapped within a Canadian diamond mine when it collapses. Writer-director Jonathan Hensleigh has form for spectacle, having penned the scripts for Armageddon and Die Hard with a Vengeance, as well as doing uncredited work on Con Air and Gone in 60 Seconds.

DOM (4 June)
This eight-part crime thriller is set amid the war on drugs in Brazil. Set across two time periods, it traces the battle between a father and son who find themselves on opposite sides of the law. It's a sprawling and complex tale of morality and criminality, which looks likely to be a great binge-watch for fans of shows like Narcos and Breaking Bad.
When Eagles Dare (4 June)
In 2010, Crystal Palace looked dead and buried, in financial ruin and narrowly surviving relegation from the Championship into League One. But with the help of a fan consortium and an energised squad, they spent the next few seasons rebuilding and became a Premier League force once again. The latest in the line of Amazon's acclaimed sport docuseries, When Eagles Dare explores the club's rebirth.
Clarkson’s Farm (11 June)
A few years ago, Jeremy Clarkson became a farmer. After years of driving fast cars round corners while yelling into a camera as a presenter on Top Gear and subsequently The Grand Tour, this series marks a real change of tack for the patron saint of petrolheads. It follows him as he attempts to overcome his lack of agricultural knowledge in order to run a 1,000-acre farm in Oxfordshire.
Bosch S7 (25 June)
This TV outing for the police detective Harry Bosch — inspired by Michael Connelly's series of novels — has been running since 2014. This seventh series, based on the novel The Burning Room, is set to mark the conclusion of the show. Titus Welliver again plays Bosch and, if the plot of the book is followed closely, it grapples with Bosch's imminent retirement as well as the shooting of a mariachi performer.
