Amy Poehler: Inside Out Is A ‘Good Date Movie’

Amy Poelher clearly knows how to sell a movie. Because not only has she revealed that ‘Inside Out’ is a stellar film to take someone on a date with, but she’s also insisted that it will help guys seal the deal.

The ‘Parks & Recreation’ actress, who stars as Joy in ‘Inside Out’, made her comments while speaking to E! Online to promote the upcoming Pixar effort.

“This is the first time I’ve said this but I actually think this movie is a good date movie,” Poehler declared. “Because I think you could go on a date and then you could talk about your feelings afterward. A woman’s very vulnerable after she a cries. It’s a good time to swoop in.”

Poehler wasn’t done there too. She continued that if you combine ‘Inside Out’ with a nice dinner immediately after then male viewers will definitely “close the deal.”

Poehler also admitted that she exerted plenty of sweat and toil while providing the voice of joy for ‘Inside Out’, remarking, “It was truly very physical for an animated thing, because you kind of can’t do her sitting down. You have to move around and jump around. She does a lot of action in the film, so you end up kind of re-enacting that.”

‘Inside Out’ is set inside the mind 11-year-old Riley, and revolves around the five emotions that run are inside these headquarters. This includes Poehler’s Joy, Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), and Sadness (Phyllis Smith).

It’s also happens to be the first Pixar film in two years, and the anticipation ahead of the project is that it could be there best in since ‘Toy Story 3′ too.
