Ana de Armas' forgotten thriller is now available to watch on Netflix
The Informer, a forgotten thriller starring Ana de Armas, has been added to Netflix UK and Ireland this week.
The film follows a prisoner who becomes an FBI informant to try and down the mafia's drug trade, but things go horribly wrong and it becomes a quest for revenge.

Joel Kinnaman, Rosamund Pike, Clive Owen, and rapper-turned-actor Common also feature.
The Informer was released in 2019 in the UK and made a modest impact at the box office. A US release followed in late 2020 after multiple delays.
Its critical reception was also muted, with a 64% score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 58 reviews, plus a 61% audience score.
Since The Informer, de Armas has gone on to star in more thrillers – in fact, her darkly comic survival thriller Eden (formerly called Origin of Species) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month.
Directed by Ron Howard, the movie also stars Jude Law, Sydney Sweeney, Vanessa Kirby, and Daniel Brühl.
It's inspired by a true story and tells the story of a group of people who venture to the Galápagos Islands to find the meaning of life.
Meanwhile, de Armas' John Wick spin-off Ballerina is still on the way, although a year-long delay was announced back in February.

Very recently, the actor reassured fans that the movie will be worth the wait.
"Every time they say you have reshoots, it's not good. You don't feel good about it," she said. "All we did in those reshoots had to be there. We got amazing footage.
"It's really spectacular. A trailer is coming out soon, I've been told. I saw it, and it's beautiful," de Armas continued.
"I'm very proud of it. It's really exciting. It's dangerous, it's sexy, it's very John Wick."
