Anderson seeks Depp for film role

Wes Anderson is rumoured to be eyeing up Johnny Depp and Jude Law for his next movie.

The Moonrise Kingdom filmmaker is apparently "approaching" some names including Johnny, Jude and Angela Lansbury to appear in his as-yet-untitled ensemble film, reported Twitchfilm.com.

The director is also said to be interested in reuniting with previous collaborators Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Jeff Goldblum, Adrien Brody and Willem Dafoe.

Wes, whose film Moonrise Kingdom premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, has already revealed that the script for his eighth film is done and that it will be based in Europe.

"It's a film I want to make in Europe, a Euro movie," he previously told US Harper's Bazaar.

Wes will next produce Peter Bogdanovich's indie comedy Squirrel To The Nuts, which stars Olivia Wilde and Owen Wilson.
