Andrew Garfield made movies as a kid

Bless Andrew Garfield. The actor has always loved acting, revealing that he made amateur action movies when he was a youngster.

The Amazing Spider-Man star was clearly meant to be on the silver screen as he sharpened his acting chops with old home videos, which he used to shoot at the family home with his father as director during his school days.

Andrew's dad would use a bulky video camera to make films starring the actor and his elder brother but things wouldn't always go smoothly and Andrew would sometimes end up sobbing when his brother got too carried away with an action scene. Awww...

He tells The Observer Magazine, "My dad had this awesome old VHS on-the-shoulder camera that he was very proud of. We made a boxing movie once, which was really good fun. Dad was a good director, actually, very nurturing and good to his actors. The films usually ended up with me crying, though, because my brother accidentally on purpose hit me too hard."

We just have the cutest image in our heads. These things make Andrew even more adorable...
