Ange Postecoglou told how he can fix one Tottenham problem that will make him unbeatable after 5-2 Burnley win
Tottenham finally have a manager who plays the kind of football the fans adore and the results are there to show for their efforts.
They comprehensively beat Manchester United at home before impressing and beating Bournemouth. They suffered a shock against Fulham in the League Cup but have put that behind them by beating Burnley 5-2 away in the Premier League.
Club captain bagged a hat trick and manager Ange Postecoglou says the South Korean is a perfect example and ambassador for the club.
Son applied more pressure (49) than any other player on the pitch, with 11 of those resulting in turnovers in possession for his side as they won at Turf Moor.
He said: “It’s not exactly why but it’s one of the reasons. I’ve got a picture in my head of what I want the team to look like and I keep saying that we’re still at the beginning.
“We’re still building and there’s still a lot to be done. It’s about putting all the pieces together and at the same time not neglecting what’s right in front of you.”
Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker praised Son who bagged his first hat trick of the season and said he was perfect for the way the manager wants to play, something Spurs fans will hope continues if they are to fix the goal scoring problem created by the exit of Harry Kane.
Lineker said on X: “A hattrick for Son. Spurs are really suited to Ange-ball.” The win against Burnley means Postecoglou has equalled the club’s best start to a Premier League season in four games with his three wins from four games.
