Ant-Man star's 100% rated horror Late Night with the Devil gets first trailer
A creepy first trailer for Ant-Man star David Dastmalchian's new horror, Late Night with the Devil, has been released.
The movie from Cameron and Colin Cairnes drew huge acclaim following its premiere at the SXSW Film Festival last year, and currently stands at 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
The story takes the form of a found footage movie, showing the broadcast of a late-night show in 1977 as Dastmalchian's host Jack Delroy welcomes a parapsychologist and her subject – the teenage survivor of a Satanic church's mass suicide.

In the teaser trailer, a man's voiceover reveals: "On Halloween night 1977, America gathered around for a live TV event that shocked a nation. What happened was real. What you're about to see is the recently discovered master tape of what went to air that night."
We then see clips of the show, including the young teen as she lifts her face to reveal a terrifying spectre, as well as chilling further extracts from the broadcast that will no doubt have us hiding behind the sofa.
Many reviews have praised Late Night with the Devil, with Variety calling it a "clever high-concept gambit", while Little White Lies suggested that "viewers risk coming under its baleful influence".

"The ingenuity, the painstaking period recreation, a riveting performance by Dastmalchian, and a showstopper of a finale make for one Halloween event you won't want to miss," wrote Bloody Disgusting in its verdict.
Mashable added in its review: "With Late Night with the Devil, the Cairnes Brothers bring these worlds of fear and fun together into one lean, mean, and sickly satisfying thrill ride."
Late Night with the Devil is due for release in the US on March 22. A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.
