Ant McPartlin made a subtle Kylie Jenner reference in front of Caitlyn on I'm a Celebrity

As another season of I’m a Celebrity kicks off, it seems Ant McPartlin is up to his usual mischief.

In last night’s show, the Geordie presenter took the opportunity to sneak in a cheeky Kylie Jenner reference - right in front of her parent Caitlyn, who is a contestant .

It was a subtle joke, but savvy viewers noticed and some even called it ‘TV gold’.

Alongside co-star Declan Donnelly, Ant walked into the camp to unveil who was doing the latest bushtucker trial at the end of Tuesday night’s episode while singing the words ‘rise and shine’.

The campmates had just woken up, so obviously the joke was fair game, but fans of the Kardashian-Jenner empire will be aware that he was actually referring to a meme about 22-year-old Kylie.

What is the Rise and Shine meme?

Let’s backtrack, what exactly is the Rise and Shine meme? It was created when Kylie shared a YouTube video of her giving fans a guided tour around the offices for her Kylie Cosmetics brand.

As the video was ending, Kylie entered one-year-old daughter Stormi’s nursery to wake her up and can be heard singing ‘rise and shine’ to her as she enters the bedroom.

Her singing then went viral and took on a life of its own, with fans sharing it on social media and celebrities such as Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus performing it together. At one point, Ariana Grande even wanted to sample it for a song.

In true Kardashian-Jenner style, you can even now buy branded Rise and Shine merchandise.

Viewers appreciated Ant’s efforts to make Caitlyn feel at home in the jungle.

One posted: "ANT DID NOT JUST SING RISE AND SHINE IN FRONT OF CAITLYN JENNER OMG STOP."

Another added: "Singing Rise and Shine...that's big!"

"RISE AND SHINE HAHAHAHA AS IF THIS JUST HAPPENED I'M CREASING,' said one viewer online.

"I REALLY JUST HEARD ANTHONY MCPARTLIN SING RISE AND SHINE IN FRONT OF CAITLYN JENNER IN THE JUNGLE NAH THIS IS TV GOLD." a fan wrote.
