Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead isn't just a Netflix movie, but already a franchise. There's an anime series in the works, as well a prequel movie which has just gotten a new teaser.

Army of Thieves focuses on Matthias Schweighöfer's character Ludwig Dieter, six years before the main film and in his early days of safecracking.

He gets recruited by Game of Thrones and Fast and Furious actress Nathalie Emmanuel, playing a mysterious character named Gwendoline. The outbreak has already happened in America, and she sees this as the perfect opportunity to pull off a series of heists across Europe.

Going by this teaser, we've definitely got more heist than we've got zombies. We've also got Man Like Mobeen star Guz Khan, who will hopefully provide plenty of laughs.

Following the success of the main Army of the Dead movie, Netflix has signed a huge two-year, first-look deal with Zack Snyder and his production company The Stone Quarry.

His wife Deborah said: "For us, we don't usually play it safe. The content we make is a little bit edgier. And I think it's important to have a good partnership and hear each other. And Netflix has given us a lot of freedom.

"But they've also embraced the idea of trying new things and not necessarily waiting for a success before moving ahead."

One spin-off has already actually been released, focusing on Mikey Guzman from the original film killing some zombies for YouTube views, as you do.
