Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirms Return In Terminator Genisys Sequel
Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back… and this time, it’s in a sequel to the upcoming ‘Terminator Genisys’.
It’s no secret that ‘Terminator Genisys’ will be the start of an all-new ‘Terminator’ trilogy. But while Arnie is back for the upcoming movie, we’ve yet to hear anything about the rest of them… that is, until now.
But the original Terminator has revealed he’ll be back for the sixth movie.

During an interview with The Arnold Fans, the 67-year-old Terminator revealed that he’ll appear in the ‘Terminator Genisys’ follow-up.
Asked whether he’ll be in the next movie, he replied: “Yes, of course, next year.”
But does this mean he’ll star in the entire ‘Terminator Genisys’ trilogy?
For now, we’ll have to wait and see… but at the very least, Arnie will be back in ‘Terminator 6’. But whether or not he’s the same T-800 is another matter entirely. After all, if this T-800 is killed by the end of ‘Terminator Genisys’, it’s possible we could encounter yet-another of Skynet’s creations. Then again, perhaps Arnie’s T-800 – known as ‘Pops’ to Sarah Connor – will make it through the movie.
Of course, there’s also another possibility…
“Another possibility is fans have always wanted to see Schwarzenegger come back as a human resistance soldier; a badass soldier who’s captured and his DNA harvested for growing a youthful replica, who is then scanned and used to model the 1984 Terminator. There’s a lot of options here for an Arnold return to T6.”
Obviously, this all depends on how ‘Terminator Genisys’ is received… after all, the popularity of ‘Pops’ might just influence what happens next. Either way, it looks as though Arnold Schwarzenegger is back, and he’s here to stay.
Let’s just hope he remains one of the good guys.
‘Terminator Genisys’ heads to cinemas on 3 July 2015.
