Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Love Child Attends Father's Expendables 3 Premiere

Joseph Baena, the illegitimate love child fathered by Arnold Schwarzenegger while he was married to Maria Shriver, was spotted at the LA premiere for his father’s new film ‘The Expendables 3’.

The 16-year-old student, who is the spitting image of the Austrian Oak with his Conan-esque shaggy mane, attended the premiere accompanied by his mother, Mildred Baena and his girlfriend.

It’s thought Arnold and Joseph don’t spend much time together, so to see him at the premiere is quite surprising.

Arnold fathered Joseph with Mildred while she was an employee at the Schwarzenegger household. She worked as a maid for the family for 20 years until she retired in 2011.

Baena was pregnant with Joseph at the same time Arnold’s wife Maria Shriver was pregnant with their youngest child Christopher, and the pair were born weeks apart. Arnold claims he didn’t know he was the child’s father until Joseph started to bear an uncanny resemblance to him, at which point he began taking care of Mildred and Joseph financially.

Mildred separated from her husband not long after the birth.

Arnold and Maria ended their relationship in 2011 after 25 years of marriage, soon after he stepped down from office as the Governor of California.The 14-year love child secret was considered to be the key reason for their separation.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, Arnold’s eldest son, is currently following in his father’s footsteps by pursuing a Hollywood career. His first major feature, the horror-comedy ‘Scouts vs Zombies’ is due out in 2015.
