Police release new CCTV images of schoolgirl, 13, missing for six days since getting train to London

New images have been released of a 13-year-old schoolgirl who has been missing for nearly a week.

Befordshire Police issued pictures taken from CCTV footage of Atlanta Butler, who was reported missing from her home last Thursday.

Fears are growing for the missing teen, who was last seen at around 7.45am that day.

There was a later sighting of Atlanta at Sandy railway station in Bedfordshire shortly after 10.30am the same morning, while CCTV footage captured her boarding the 10.56am train towards London.

A statement from police said: "The 13-year-old was captured on CCTV at The Co-op in Market Square, Sandy between 10.15am-10.20am on Thursday.

"She arrived at Sandy train station shortly after 10.30am and caught the 10.56am train towards London.

"She has medium length straight dark hair, blue eyes and is around 5ft 1in.

"We believe she may be in London but also has links to Milton Keynes."

The teenager was wearing white jeans, a black zipped jacket and white trainers and was carrying a black bag when she went missing.
