Authorities seize 12,000 fentanyl pills disguised as candy at LAX

At 7:30am on Wednesday the 19th of October police responded to a call at LAX international airport in California. A suspect had attempted to carry 12,000 fentanyl laced tablets disguised as candy through security, before fleeing after their ploy was revealed. The LA County Sheriff's Department has said that the suspect has since been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
