Yahoo Movies Bad weather suppresses Russian aviation near Avdiivka, Ukraine says
The Russian military has decreased its reliance on aviation near Avdiivka, Donetsk Oblast, most likely due to poor weather conditions, Ukraine’s Tavria Operational Command spokesperson Oleksandr Shtupun told Ukrainian TV broadcasters on Nov. 16.
Shtupun said that in one day, the Russians conducted nine air strikes along the Tavria front direction, adding that enemy activity on that part of the battlefield "has roughly remained at the same level."

“In Avdiivka, the situation regarding enemy activity remains approximately the same; the only difference is that they have reduced the number of air strikes,” he said.
“This could be related to a possible lack of weaponry, but weather conditions and the ability of Russian pilots to use certain weapons in such meteorological conditions have a significant impact.”

Earlier, spokesperson for the Operational Command South, Natalia Humenyuk reported that enemy forces were using fewer guided air bombs in frontline areas due to worsening weather conditions.
On Nov. 8, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, stated that invaders released over 100 guided air bombs on populated areas near the front line in just 24 hours.
