Yahoo Movies Barbie confirms John Cena's mystery role
Wrestling icon John Cena is set to look fantastic in plastic as his mystery role in the upcoming Barbie film has been revealed.
Directed by Greta Gerwig, Barbie already boasts an all-star cast including Margot Robbie in the titular role alongside Ryan Gosling as Ken.
Emma Mackey, Will Ferrell, Michel Cera, Barbie Ferreira and Simu Liu are also among the actors appearing in the film set for release on July 21.
Cena will also have a role in the film as one of the many Ken dolls that appear – including Ncuti Gatwa, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Scott Evans – only his character will be a little different from the others.

Creatives behind the film unveiled exclusive footage at this year's ongoing CinemaCon that showed Cena as the long-haired Mermaid Ken, as well as highlighting Kate McKinnon's Weird Barbie.
Reports have suggested his character will be the love interest of Dua Lipa, who will also play a mermaid.
The event, taking place at the legendary Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, also gave film fans a sneak peek at The Flash, Blue Beetle and Wonka.
During the Barbie panel, Little Women's Gerwig discussed her experience making the film (via ComicBook.com): "Margot is the person who invited me on this journey. It was such an incredibly joyful experience, writing and making this movie... When I was writing it with Noah, there was just a point where we're just making each other laugh all the time and then we got to the end and we started making each other cry."

Gosling also discussed his journey in his role, saying he at first doubted his "Ken-ergy" when it came to portraying the iconic Mattel doll.
"It just came on like a fever really. Like a pink fever," he added.
Barbie will be released in the UK on July 21.
