Reeves shared a gif of Farrell on his Twitter account, with the caption “Wait - is that you, Oz?” alongside a bat emoji, in a nod to the villain’s full name Oswald Cobblepot.

“He didn’t accept any prods. I kept asking to meet him.”

He went on to reveal that trying on Batman’s iconic costume felt “transformative,” telling Variety: “You do feel very powerful immediately. And it’s pretty astonishing, something that is incredibly difficult to get into, so the ritual of getting into it is pretty humiliating.

“You’ve got five people trying to shove you into something.”

The film is slated to arrive in cinemas in June 2021.
