The BBC has given us our first look at Danish actor Claes Bang, soon to appear as the star of the new adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic vampire tale Dracula.
And we're probably going to sleep with the light on tonight, so thanks for that.
Splattered with blood, and with black-red piercing eyes and bottom teeth just lengthened enough to be unsettling, it's absolute nightmare fuel.
And the less said about those nails, the better.
Compared to another shot released of his non-vampiric persona, it's a stark contrast from the actor, a veteran of stage and screen in his native Denmark.
He also starred in Ruben Östlund's 2017 movie The Square, which went on to win the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

And he finds himself in storied company for Dracula too, with League of Gentlemen, Doctor Who and Sherlock polymath Mark Gatiss starring and co-writing with fellow former Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat, also on show-running duties.
It also stars Dolly Wells, Sacha Dhawan, John Heffernan, Joanna Scanlan and Chanel Cresswell, and will air on BBC One and Netflix in the winter.
