Ben Kingsley gets badass Iron Man 3 poster

The Mandarin means business in new character poster.

It’s Ben Kingsley’s turn to get his own ‘Iron Man 3’ character poster, and he doesn’t look too happy about having to wait.

We’ve already seen Don Cheadle’s Iron Patriot and Guy Pearce’s Aldrich Killian, but now it’s time for The Mandarin.

Described by producer Kevin Feige as “Iron Man’s most famous foe”, The Mandarin is top dog of global terrorist organization The Ten Rings - a mysterious, reclusive villain with the ability to strike fear into governments and populations alike. We’d say his evil fashion sense could do it alone – this guy just looks bad.

Here’s Marvel’s official synopsis for the film, starring Robert Downey Jr.:

“When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?”

Listen out for Kingsley’s growling tones in the trailer below.

Iron Man 3, directed by Shane Black, opens in the UK 26 April 2013.
