Vogue confirmed that the long-awaited sequel to the 2001 comedy is officially gearing up for production right now with filming set to begin in Rome “any day”. The fashion mag also shared pictures of the two actors hamming up with the magazine’s editor Anna Wintour before the show.
A flurry of tweets and Instagram posts showing the pair at the show were shared this afternoon and this was promptly followed up by confirmation from Paramount that the sequel is officially happening.
Stiller and Wilson closed the fashion show walking the catwalk in typically garish garb to the tune of The Human League’s ‘Don’t You Want Me’ to the rapturous applause of the assembled fashionistas. Paramount Pictures announced that ‘Zoolander 2’ is coming to cinemas on 12 February, 2016.
