Yahoo Movies Ben Stiller Breaks World Selfie Stick Record At Zoolander 2 Premiere
It is a world record befitting as dim-witted a man as model and fashion icon Derek Zoolander.
Last night at the London premiere of ‘Zoolander 2’, Ben Stiller assembled a star-spangled group of celebs to nail down the world selfie stick record.
With the stick lurching in the air, the star snapped the cast and associated red carpet types in front of an adjudicator from the Guinness Book.
It measured an impressive 8.56 metres for the world record win.
Though Stiller later tweeted: “This was much more dangerous than it looks.”
Among those in the snap are co-stars Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Penelope Cruz, Kristen Wiig and co-writer Justin Theroux.
The shot was then tweeted for all to marvel at.
The London appearance was one of several stops across Europe for the 'Zoolander 2’ cast, taking in fan screenings in Berlin, Madrid and Rome too.
In Rome, Stiller and Wilson stopped traffic by posing as shop mannequins in the window of Valentino.
The designer also accompanied Stiller to last night’s London premiere.
The movie is released across the UK on February 12.
