Sleep Awareness Week is here, running from 8 March to 14 March 2020.
The annual event encourages people to change their sleep routine to improve their overall health as Brits lose, on average, 200,000 working days a year because of lack of exhaustion.
According to Bupa, the average British adult gets just a touch over six hours of sleep every night, a figure that is disproportionately less than the recommended eight hours.
There are a whole host of products, from pillows, to eye masks, sleep sprays and lamps, which claim to help you snooze more soundly.
While most aren’t scientifically-proven to work, a number include natural oils and fragrances that are known to help promote relaxation and, in turn, sleep.
