Best Twitter reactions to Jared Leto's huge Golden Globes flower brooch

From Cosmopolitan

Most Golden Globes fashion chat tends to revolve around the red carpet dresses but this year there's one less conventional celebrity look that's caught the internet's eye: Jared Leto and his flower brooch.

For those playing at home, Jared was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in The Little Things and was interviewed live as part of NBC's Golden Globes Pre-Show. Naturally, being a fashion-forward kinda celeb, Jared wore a statement look for the occasion: a sand-hued Gucci suit layered over a neutral button-up shirt, accessorised with the largest flower brooch you've ever seen. I mean, if this ain't the definition of top-up Zoom dressing, I don't know what is.

"Jared Leto looks like the love child of Gucci designer Alessandro Michele and Carrie Bradshaw. It’s a look!"

Now, as is often the case with bold looks, the internet was kind of divided by the brooch (we're pretty into it, though) and it wasn't long before Twitter did what it does best and turned the whole thing into some hilarious, lighthearted meme content.

Between the Friends and Stranger Things references, fans also drew parallels between Jared's look and Sex and the City, with one Tweet even suggesting producers cast Leto in the upcoming sequel.

But that's enough from us, let's take a look at some truly lol-worthy content to get you through Monday:

"Jared Leto clearly got the hummus."

"If Jared Leto is not squirting people in the face with water out of that flower, we riot."

"So, no one is gonna tell Jared Leto that he has a demogorgon stuck to his suit?"

"Cast @JaredLeto as Samantha in the Sex and the City reboot you cowards"

"Jared Leto looks like every dude my mom dated between 1979 and 1983. That mustache says 'my conversion van is carpeted.'"
