Better Call Saul star Rhea Seehorn has joined the cast of Bad Boys 4.

The actress, who famously played the role of Kim Wexler across the Breaking Bad prequel's six seasons, has been cast in an undisclosed role in the next installment of the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence action franchise, Deadline reports.

Recently-announced new cast members include Grey's Anatomy's Eric Dane as the villain and Empire's Tasha Smith, who takes over the role of Marcus Burnett's (Lawrence) wife Theresa from Theresa Randle.

Also on board for the sequel are Fantastic Four's Ioan Gruffudd, Paola Núnez, Vanessa Hudgens and Alexander Ludwig.

Smith and Lawrence return as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, with Bad Boys For Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah also back to helm the movie.

Filming on Bad Boys 4 began last month, with the movie announced back in 2020. Production was put on hold last year, though Sony chairman Tom Rothman denied that the delay was due to Smith's infamous Oscars slap in 2022.

"There weren’t any brakes to pump because the car wasn’t moving," he told Deadline.

"That was a very unfortunate thing that happened, and I don’t think it’s really my place to comment, except to say that I’ve known Will Smith for many years, and I know him to be a good person."

Meanwhile, Seehorn has remained busy since Better Call Saul came to an end last year, and among her projects is a reunion with co-creator Vince Gilligan on a new Apple TV+ series.

Bad Boys 4 has yet to confirm a release date.
