New ‘Black Mass’ Trailer Shows Johnny Depp’s Whitey Bulger Giving a Lesson on Morality (Video)

In the newly released trailer for Warner Bros.’ gangster movie “Black Mass,” Johnny Depp‘s character takes time out to let his son know “If nobody sees it, it didn’t happen.”

Depp plays James “Whitey” Bulger, the real-life leader of the Winter Hill Gang, which controlled large parts of South Boston for years through fear and violence.

“It’s not what you do. It’s when and where you do it and the who you’re doing it to or with,” Bulger says in the trailer. When his girlfriend (Dakota Johnson) asks if it’s appropriate to tell these things to a six year old, Bulger replies, “Yeah.”

One of the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted, he eluded a worldwide manhunt until he was captured in Santa Monica, Calif in 2011.
