Anne Hathaway shows off singing voice in first Les Miserables trailer

Update: The 'Les Miserables' trailer has now been removed from YouTube.

Anne Hathaway's sensational singing voice is the star of the new Les Miserables trailer that launched today.

The actress, who plays Fantine in the film, takes centre stage in the promo and gives a brilliant rendition of signature tune 'I Dreamed A Dream' — made even more famous by Susan Boyle.

The song continues throughout the trailer which also gives a glimpse of cast members Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried.

This isn't the first time we've heard Hathaway's impressive pipes though. She performed a musical 'comedy' sketch when she presented the critically panned Oscars in 2011.

Her fortunes have changed significantly since then and it's turning out to be a phenomenal few months for the actress. When she's not melting hearts with her singing voice she is starring as the iconic feline villain Catwoman in 'The Dark Knight Rises' — one of this year's most anticipated movies.

After watching this trailer, we may be adding another movie to our must-watch list.

Les Miserables is due in UK cinemas on 7th December.
