Exclusive Frankenweenie poster

Yahoo! Movies can EXCLUSIVELY reveal the brand new poster for 'Frankenweenie' as a little Tuesday treat for all you film fans.

The black and white poster shows the tombstone of central character Sparky, a dog that is brought back to life by his young owner Victor.

The cheeky looking un-dead pooch reeks havoc when he escapes Victor's clutches and spooks the entire town.

The gloomy looking poster is instantly recognisable as the latest concoction from movie wizard Tim Burton who is no stranger to the stop-motion animation - he was behind the very successful picture 'Corpse Bride'.

'Frankenweenie' is a re-imagining of Burton's 1984 short film of the same name and features the voices of Winona Ryder and Martin Short (no Johnny Depp?!).

Set for a perfectly timed release around Halloween this year, it certainly is one to watch for 2012.
