Oscars: Best Actor Jean Dujardin’s colourful past uncovered

Welcome to the spotlight Jean Dujardin. Having won the Oscar for Best Actor the star of 'The Artist' is probably being swamped with offers for films as we speak.

But with fame comes a price; chiefly people delving into his not-so-illustrious past.

Dujardin started his career as a comedian, writing one-man shows before appearing on a French talent show as part of a comedy group called Nous C Nous.



Their work included various parodies, including a boy band, for which they made a music video where the screen-grabs above originated. Thankfully, he quickly moved into film.

In 2005 Dujardin starred in 'Brice de Nice', where he played a posh surfer with beach blonde hair who always wore a yellow T-shirt bearing his own name. Yes.

Every actor, even those with Oscar nominations, have their share of embarrassing roles early on in their careers and they're always found out eventually!
