Life Of Pi trailer premiere

Our first proper glimpse at one of the year's most intriguing films is finally here. It's the trailer for 'Life Of Pi'.

Check out the rather lovely footage below.

Based on the bestselling tome by Yann Martel, it's been trumpeted (not literally) as a technological breakthrough thanks to its seamless blend of CGI and live-action, as well as the 'next-generation' 3D.

Newcomer Suraj Sharma plays Pi Patel, who becomes stuck on a raft with a ruddy great tiger. The story sees his struggle for surviving over 227 presumably very wet days.
